    • Leanne, my apologies for the delay in responding to your query. First I was away, then I got busy. I just logged on to update our site and found your message.

We love visitors and new members. You are welcome to join us at 7:00 on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Quilters Dream North – 10736 124 Street, Edmonton (June 13th this month). Free parking is available behind the building and we collect no dues or fees, just show up.

We are an informal group and usually start each meeting with Show & Tell items. It’s great for anyone who wants feedback on a problem or to show off their latest creations. From there we move on to our latest challenge. This month we are working on something 12X12″ with a Light theme (last month’s theme was Seeds). Members will show their work and give a bit of background explanation about it. It’s always amazing how a dozen people can interpret the same thing a dozen different ways. Finally, whenever possible we have someone give a demonstration or teach a new and interesting technique. Last week Donna showed us how to paint on fabric with crayons.

The Edmonton Modern Quilt Guild is an informal collection of like-minded individuals who love to get together to laugh, talk quilts, share our creations and leave inspired and eager to take on the next challenge. I hope you’ll join us on June 13th.
